Live Wire! Host Courtenay Hameister and producer Robyn Tenenbaum

RAY OF LIGHT: Rejuvenation East Portland has teamed up with the folks at Live Wire! Radio to host Wave of Light, a benefit for the non-profit radio variety show on Thursday, October 20 from 6-9 pm.

Live Wire! Host Courtenay Hameister will be the ringleader for the evening, with live performances by the Parson Red Heads, Oregon Ballet Theater's Uprising, featuring musical guest Weinland,  Hand2Mouth Theater and Live Wire house poet, Scott Poole, who will be reading from his original work. The evening will wrap up with the All Star Sponsor Jam Band, comprised of members from Live Wire’s esteemed show sponsors.  Congressman Earl Blumenauer will also be making a special appearance, making this an event not to be missed.

Here is the schedule for the swell soiree:

6pm: Mingling, Silent Auction, raffle and merriment.
6:45 pm: Welcome from Alysa Rose (CEO of Rejuvenation) and Congressman Earl Blumenauer.
7 pm: Live Wire! show featuring the Parson Red Heads, Oregon Ballet Theater’s Uprising with Weinland, Hand2Mouth Theater and house poet, Scott Poole.
7:45 pm: Announce auction winners, and music by the All-star Sponsor Jam Band!
