Marissa's Musings: Ace fashion reporter Marissa Sullivan went to her local coffee house, Woodlawn Coffee and Pastry, this weekend, and lo and behold, who did she run into? None other the cast of Portlandia and their very special guest: Tu Fawning's songbird Corinna Rep. Marissa chats about it over on her Portland's Pretty blog, and even snapped a few pics for this site.

She also snagged some pretty impressive news about Portlandia's costume designer, the always gorgeous, Amanda Needham. Seems Amanda was down to Los Angeles this weekend so she could accept an Emmy Award on Sunday night at the Creative Arts Ceremony for her work on Portlandia. The show was awarded an Emmy for costumes for a variety/music program. Designer Needham and supervisor Niki Dimitras won the honor in a special category.

Yes, we can now say the "Emmy award winning Portlandia." Has a nice ring to it, doesn't it?
