Lucky Stars: Just three of the dancers at The Crystal's "80's Video Dance Attack"

BACK THAT DANCE UP: The crack that is the "80's Video Dance Attack" at the Crystal Ballroom is friggin' hot.

This retro-flavored flashback just finished the first week of a 3-week Friday night run at the Crystal Ballroom—and i have to tell you—there is nothing else like this town. Its golden age MTV with three video screens, a massive dance floor and light show...and oh, yeah...kids dancing there that weren't even born in the 80's. TONS of them dressed to the hilt in that era's garb including loads of jelly bracelets, hot spandex and flashy sweatbands—doing it like the parents did—gulp.

There is something strange about seeing your life flash before you in vivid neon green with pink stripes, but it's oh so compelling, even if it does make me you feel like a million years old. But hey, at least I didn't pull out my lawn chair like some of the other 80's "originals" did.
