Arana, Madame Dumore, Rudy and Poison Waters at Drag Race

IN THE FINAL STRETCH: Drag Race is almost down to its final episode, but before the girls of the Red Cap Garage take their final lap around the stage, there was the little matter of a "hat challenge." And, as it has been all season long, the girls did their best to dress, impress and dazzle the crowd with their original creations. I was smitten by two in particular. Arana's "spider web" hat inspired by deceased Brit designer Alexander McQueen and hat maker Philip Treacy (of note: word from Buckingham Palace is that Treacy has designed the hat, and one of the McQueen's designers designed the dress, that Kate Middleton will wear on her wedding day to Prince William). I also loved Madame Dumore's hat that looked like it was made out of a bamboo fence paired with a Jantzen-style swim suit. BRILLS!
