Rid of Me director James Westby and star Katie O'Grady

FILM FETE: James Westby's latest  film, Rid of Me, has just signed with a major sales representative, Submarine Entertainment, responsible for selling Academy Award nominated film Winter's Bone, the indie hit Tiny Furniture and the films of the Duplass Bros. (The Puffy Chair, Baghead).

This is a big get for Westby and his crew. But you too can help support local film-maker Westby and the star of his movie, Katie O'Grady, by picking up your tickets today for a benefit concert/auction that will help this incredible film on its journey to the big screen as well as benefit the Sexual Assault Resource Center.

The Rid of Me Benefit Concert & Auction takes place on April 8, 2011 at Mississippi Studios. Auction items include a trip for two to NYC to the premier of the film at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 22, 2011, riverboat cruises and more. The celeb shindig will include live music from Storm Large, Oracle, The Grand Archives, Ohioan, and Part Time Pony.

VIP tickets are $150 and include an exclusive pre-show performance and meet-n-greet with Storm, a gift bag worth $300+ and dedicated priority seating at the show General admission tickets are $50.
