Chef Sarah Schafer, ISK Guest, Dancer, Tom Barreto, Kyle, Katie O'Grady & Marti Zimlin on Fat Tuesday

SHOW US YOUR...: Hit the streets for Fat Tuesday. First off, we dropped into the Treasury, located under a bank on Southwest Broadway, for Salon Q. It wasn't very Mardi -Gras-ish. In fact it was kind of "bank-ish" although there were plenty of cute dudes who would probably have noooo trouble tracking down beads, if they were willing to show off their "stuff"...but I promise you...it wasn't that kind of crowd.

Irving Street Kitchen was a little bit more in the mood for Fat Tuesday with a giant party, and two, count 'em two, big roasted pigs for guests to grub as well as the music of "Biscuits & Gravy" (one of the band members is the brother of Irving Street Kitchen Chef Sarah Schafer), and burlesque dancers a plenty. In fact, the "dancers" were so popular that Chef Schafer is considering adopting a "burlesque brunch" for her weekend crowd. Now, that would be fun way to spend a Sunday!
