"Gone" w/ Seyfried & Timberlake to Film In Portland
Amanda Seyfried, star of Mama Mia and Red Riding Hood, is coming to Portland
STARDAR REPORT: The same folks who filmed the first Twilight in and around Portland, Oregon—Summit Entertainment—will start shooting Gone with Amanda Seyfried (and be-still my heart) possibly Justin Timberlake in April of this year.
I am hearing that the film, directed by Brazilian filmmaker Heitor Dhalia, is already in pre-production and that local casting is about to commence.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, "the thriller revolves around a young woman named Jill (Seyfried) who returns home from her night shift to find her sister's bed empty. She's convinced the serial killer who kidnapped her two years before has come back to finish the job. But the police do not believe Jill, who knows time is running out. With no one to turn to, she sets off to find her sister and face her abductor once and for all."
Another hottie to keep your eyes peeled for is Ryan Phillippe. Although he's not mentioned in the cast, he is dating Seyfried (or so says US Weekly) and will likely make at least one visit to the Portland set.
Seyfried's latest film, Red Riding Hood, which opens this weekend was directed by Catherine Hardwicke who directed the first Twilight for Summit right here in Portland, and I am pretty sure can give Amanda some great advice on where to hang out in our fair city.
