Drag Race: Bring on The Dancing Military Vixens
Arana dons military drag for Drag Race at Red Cap Garage
BABES IN ARMS: Drag Race is becoming somewhat of a personal obsession. The contest, held every Thursday night at Red Cap Garage, to crown the Northwest's "fiercest drag diva," continues to fascinate me. And, as one its judges, it should. I have no idea who is the lead. And last night, the "girls" kept me guessing just who might win. I LOVED the camo-inspired ensembles they contestants wore last night including Arana's "Inglorious Basterds" meets "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" drag as well as Bebe's eye-popping burka that when stripped off reminded of the shopping scenes in "Sex in The City, 2." Speaking of Bebe, I am starting to think she might the hardest working drag queen in town. She hand-placed thousands of rhinestones on a gown that literally took my breath away.
