DIALED IN: Entrepreneur Trudi Morrison invited Portland's best to gather with her on Thursday night at Clarklewis for the launch of her brand new Internet network: Earth2World.
It was the perfect space to introduce everyone to this new network, as the Earth2World studio (aka "the global living room") is located in the heart of the Eastbank District, just across the street from Clarklewis.
Trudi, who is the vision/mastermind behind Earth2World, welcomed over 200 guests to witness snippets from the shows hosted by Margie Boule, Ann Schatz, Diana Page Jordan, Genevieve Beatty-Tinsay, Cinda Stevens Lonsway, Fran & Jan and none other than Karol Collymore and Byron Beck.
Guests at the party sampled Clarklewis Chef Dolan Lane's stellar cuisine as well as sipped on the Earth2World signature cocktail—and the buzz in the room didn't come from the vodka-n-cucumber concoction (although it sure didn't hurt).
The buzz seems to come from a sense that Morrison, and her new network, will be a powerful tool that just might connect people of diverse interests and backgrounds through shared interests and experiences. And then there is the show I do with Karol. It's so much fun. You have to tune in!
