Portlandia producer David Cress and comic Brian Posehn at Big Ass Sandwich

SANDWICH OF THE STARS: See what happens when you let a world-famous comic create his own sandwich? Then ALL the comics coming through town want their own.

Well, that's not really what comedian Brian Posehn, best known from his work on "The Sarah Silverman Program," wanted. The comic, who is in town to perform at the Helium Comedy Club, just wanted the "Patton Oswalt" special from Big Ass Sandwiches. And, thankfully, owners Lisa and Brian Wood had just one of the "Oz-Bie Space-Pat Waste-Walt" sammies left. Posehn was at the cart with David Cress, one of the producers of "Portlandia."

Cress not only escorted Posehn to BAS, but was able to get the funny-maker to agree to appear in a Red Fang music video being shot this weekend. No word on whether or not the Oswalt-designed sandwich was part of the payment.
