WINE FLIGHT: In appreciation of their wine club members Sokol Blosser hosted a get-together at the Benson Hotel on Thursday night. Not only was it a nice night to taste Sokol Blosser's best, including one of my favorites, Evolution, it was an opportunity to wish the Willamette Valley winery well on the occasion of its 40th year in the wine business.

Following comments from Co-President Alison Sokol Blosser, Jeff Knapp, Sokol Blosser's hospitality manager, made an announcement that is sure to appeal to wine lovers around the world: Sokol Blosser will host a Mediterranean Cruise that kicks off in Rome on June 2, 2012.

Not only will there be ample opportunities to sip on Sokol Blosser vintages on this amazing trip but there are plenty of other surprises in store that I am told I can share with you in the near future.
