Chef and Mother's Bistro Top Mama Lisa Schroeder

Just posted this over at Eater PDX: Mother's Bistro will celebrate its 11th anniversary with a big family-friendly blow-out on the first day of the new year: 1-1-11. Top Mom/Chef Lisa Schroeder plans to go all-out for the big "11" with gospel singers accompanied by Janice Scroggins and other musical guests. Mayor Sam Adams is scheduled to hand Lisa yet one more accolade (earlier this year she was named Chef/Restaurateur of the Year by the IACP) and DJ Aquaman will cap off the evening with some soulful-booty-shaking dance music.

The $11 cover charge goes to charity, and guarantees guests two drink tickets as well as tasty tidbits to nibble on throughout the night. For ticket information contact the restaurant or click on Facebook here.
