Dec. 16, 2010: The Night Everyone Threw A Party!
Here's a few of the Thursday night Holiday Party-Goers.
Thursday Dec. 16, 2010: It was "The Night When It Seemed Everyone Threw A Party." So here's a quick round up of the soirees, including some of the vital vittles that were served at each shin-dig.
First up, Sockeye Creative's on the 3rd Floor of The Left Bank Building. Here's where Pete Metz and all the fun folks who work on cool campaigns for TravelPortland and the like got their nog on. Music was provided by Pete Krebs. Nibbles included potato chips drizzled in truffle oil and Violetta burgers. Outstanding.
Second on our party list was "Don't Be Elfish." Trent Finlay and his dad, Paul, threw a little party in their friends, The Novicks, Northeast home to benefit organizations in Willamette Week's Give Guide including P:ear, Phame, Livewire and Basic Rights Oregon. The boys served the most amazing steak soup. Wow.
Then it was off to the Southwest end of town and Bill Dickey and David Wagner's soiree to benefit DoveLewis. Their food choices including an incredible display from Devil's Food Catering.
And our last stop for the night was at Mother's Bistro where Chef Lisa Schroeder's partner-in-love, Robby Samples, spun tunes for his twisted and always brilliant Cabaret Caroloke. And we all know how good Lisa's food is.
I am stuffed.
