Mayor Sam Adams Gets Fashionable at H&M's Opening Night Party

H&M's PDX HOOPLA: Well, that was one helluva of a night. I'm talking, of course, about the VIP grand opening party for about 750 of Portland's coolest peeps at the brand new H&M at Pioneer Place.

While shoppers lined up outside the store for Thursday's actual opening, on Wednesday night PDX party-lovers shopped (more like ransacked actually due to a 25-percent discount for the night) the three-floor, 2,500-foot, incredibly  cool Swedish-based retail store.

Open bars dotted the aisles as did a jillion sharp-dressed waiters who passed out bites from Broder, Clarklewis, Bunk, Bluehour, Cupcake Jones, and Swedish fish-shaped doughnuts from VooDoo Doughnuts. Style-setter TAOW Productions partnered with the restaurants and others—including international DJ Sterling Moss— to throw what was the best, and definitely most fashionable, party of the year.
