GARDEN STATE: I didn't make it to Logan Lynn's stellar performance at Salem Pride, but I did make it to Salem. Well, South Salem and the spectacular home of Doug Davault and Clark McDonald. On Sunday, these two terrific gents hosted Basic Rights Oregon annual summertime garden party in Salem, Ore.

Fifty BRO supporters, including state politicos such as State Treasurer Ted Wheeler, gathered together to talk about securing equal rights for everyone while nibbling on flavorful apps, sipping wine from nearby Firesteed Winery, and listening to the strings provided by a quartet of members from the Salem Chamber Orchestra.
