HERE COMES THE JUDGEMENT: As one of the judges for Red Cap's Portland Idol singing competition—which currently runs every Thursday night at 9 pm through the end of July—I sometimes get charged with being the "Simon" of the panel (which includes Chef Lisa Schroeder of Mother's Bistro and singing sensation Katie Werremeyer as well as guest judges) to contestants such as Tamra and Nikki, who are pictured above with co-host Kevin Cook/Poison Waters.

Well, now you can judge for yourself just how "Simon" I sound.
