PostHeaderIcon Lean Streets: Lost Dogs Benefit at Wieden + Kennedy

DOG DOC: Although I am excited about the line-up at this weekend's stellar QDoc Film Festival at the Clinton, I am also really looking forward to seeing bits of another documentary project that is being showcased this weekend at the Wieden + Kennedy Building.

Lost Dogs is a documentary film by filmmaker Vanessa Schulz, currently in production, about the plight of homeless street dogs in Chile, and around the world. The film was inspired by the "Hero Dog" incident in Santiago, Chile, captured on surveillance cameras and spread virally over YouTube, in Winter 2008 . The production company behind the project, 21st Paradigm is a non-profit, documentary film company from Bend, Oregon, who relies on charitable contributions by passionate individuals who want to the story of homeless street dogs around the world, brought to light through film. If you would like to support this worthwhile endeavor and see a preview of the film I encourage you to RSVP here as seating is limited. And if you would see a peek at Lost Dogs, please check out the trailer below.

Lost Dogs, 6 pm Saturday, June 5th, Wieden + Kennedy Building, 224 NW 13th Ave.
