SEX UNDER THE STARS: The weather was anything but cinematic, but that didn't seem to deter all those who gathered atop The Nines Hotel on the roof-top deck of the pan-Asian hotspot Departure late Saturday night for a very breezy soiree in anticipation of this weekend's release of Sex and The City 2. The high-flying cosmopolitan boite spot poured Belvedere cosmos an flutes of Moët Chandon Champagne while KINK morning gal Sheila Hamilton and our state's former first lady, Sharon Kitzhaber (pictured above in easily the best outfits/shoes of the night), as well as myself picked the best Carrie, Samantha, Miranda, and Charlotte as well as the “Best Mr. Big” out of the thrilled, yet, chilled crowd. Thankfully, General Manager David Marsh and his crew were able to tent the festive fete on the west deck of Departure allowing the ladies, and a few gents, to show off their best SATC looks. Kudos to the four gals who each dressed as a different member of the cast and didn't give a rip about the weather. Now that's how our PDX meets SATC girls roll.
