I just returned to PDX from Canada where they are loathe to sing in public, prefering to isolate themselves in small rooms and sing in anonymity. We have to stop this trend now before it gains any more ground.

@Christopher Vetter -- Even though I own Voicebox, I still love to get up on stage to dazzle/encringe the vast hordes of punters -- and I know the same goes for many of our customers.

Actually, I know many folks who claimed they "would never sing karaoke" who got their first shot at Voicebox in the comfort that a private room with their friends. Now, they're junkies and rock out in all venues, from living rooms, private rooms, and yes, even on stage at their local dive.
