Red Dress 2010: What A Messy Success!

Oh. My. Goodness. Maybe it was because the theme was The Shining, but the 10th Anniversary of the Red Dress Party seemed especially demented, if not downright possessed with a certain...um...sexual debauchery that is rarely (if ever) seen in little, old Portland. Perhaps that might explain why a woman running for a certain local government post literally chased me around the VIP lounge. Or why another woman ignored a super long line for the toilets and snuck into the male-only porta-potty, ripped down her drawers, and did her bizness right next to me in what is essentially a peeing trench (I now refer to her as "trough girl"). And, then, what about all the gorey bits that several party-goers sported on their red dress finery so they looked like gay zombies from hell. And, oh, then there were all those boys in all sort of red dresses and very few undergarments. OH. MY. GOODNESS. But it wasn't all sexual excess at Red Dress...oh, hell, who am I kidding. Like every year before (and I am sure for many years to come) the annual Red Dress Party is the most sexually-charged party of the year. Tahoe Jackson literally tore the roof off this mother of a dance party with a murderous set and DJ Harmonix and DJ Tronic made sure everyone was dancing on not one, but two, dance floors. And everyone seemed to enjoy the complimentary cocktails served by the incredibly gorgeous staff (as well as the good eats including mini-corn dogs, sliders and sweet potato fries from Violetta's).
