IN THE 'HOOD: I love the image above. It's all of Portland's neighborhoods on a silk-screened poster. It comes from Ork Posters, who has several other city neighborhood posters to choose from here. Where I saw one in real life was in the window at a Beard's Framing shop, but they were all sold out of them. That's okay, because what I really want is this image on a hoodie or a T-shirt. Now that would be cool.

SPEAKING OF COOL: My brother-in-law, Joel, received perhaps the most impressive pop culture present on Christmas Eve (that's Joel's wife, "Brodie" displaying it). Yes, it was Tiger Woods in a box, swinging at nothing. I wonder what he would get for it on Ebay?

BOXING IT UP DAY: Judge Kemp, and his partner Eric Schnell, threw a fabulous post-holiday party in their AMAZING North Portland home—designed by Schnell himself. And, of course, all the fabulous people were there. And a few cute ones too.
