FRANCO TALK: About this time last year, a certain well known actor, namely James Franco (pictured above with my partner, Juan Martinez, at The Heathman Hotel), was making his way around Portland-and the world-promoting Gus Van Sant's amazing Milk, of which he (and his ass) gave a stellar performance. Well, who knew, a year later, that dear James would be sporting his lanky look on the set of General Hospital? And that he would be sooo damn good. And that it wasn't a bit for Saturday Night Live. What should we expect next? Anderson Cooper on Regis and Kelly? Oh, wait.

DOUBLE TWILIGHT: The talented offspring of former Oregonian scribes Vivian McInerney and Johnathan Nicholas, India Nicholas, did a nifty interview with RPattz's Twilight acting and stunt double for Willamette Week's blog. Damn, I wish I would've done that interview. Especially since I talked to Krobsten's "doubles" when they were stuck in a tree for hours in the Columbia Gorge(that would be the actual stars in said tree above). Oh well, good job India...you are becoming an amazing writer (no matter what people are saying about your review of this place).
