TURKEY TROT: Sockeye Creative held a turkey of a party on Wednesday in its incredible Union Station launch pad. That was the theme of "Sockeye vs. Aliens Thanks Party." And it worked. As does anything Sockeye touches lately. From its outlandish industrial films for Hollywood Video (see video links on this website) to the really cool images film director James Westby (above right, and next to girlfriend/local starlet Katie O'Grady) and others Sockeye-rs compiled for Travel Portland. As they say, "it's all good." As was the party featuring all sorts of goodies from Artemis Catering.

TWILIGHT TIME: Speaking of Ms. O'Grady here is a photo from her children's acting class she taught yesterday featuring a few of the local folks who played a role in Twilight. Yes, kids eat this stuff up.

REACH FOR THE STARS: That's my buddy David Bragdon, in between Ruth Ann Tsukuda and Dee Walsh, at the REACH Luncheon yesterday at The Governor Hotel. I love David. The Metro Council President can talk about housing and actually keep me awake through an entire lunch. Now that a nifty trick. Thanks to Kay Hutchinson for allowing me and Juan to sit with his folks.

FASHION FORWARD: Here's a behind the scenes sneak peek of photographer Jonny Shultz (center), stylist Gretchen Jones and a very handsome model named Peter from a fashionable photo shoot that will be featured at Byronbeck.com early next week. I can't wait until you kids see these photos. AMAZING!
