Going Under: Sarah Palin Wears Clothes With Portland Connection

CLOTHES MAKE THE WOMAN? Want to dress like Sarah Palin?
No, neither do I. But I do like the running ensemble the leggy former Alaskan guv is wearing on the current, controversial cover of Newsweek.
And guess what? That outfit has a Portland connection.
Originally shot for Runner's World, Palin's outfit comes from Icebreaker, which is based in New Zealand, but has it U.S. HQ in Portland, OR.
It was a surprise to the company, according to Lee Weinstein, from Icebreaker's Commuincations department.
For both covers Palin is wearing Icebreaker’s Long Sleeve Chase Zip (in salsa/silver).
It's the first time the small New Zealand sustainable apparel company has appeared on a U.S. magazine cover.
Want to buy it? The running top retails for $99.99 in different colors and is available here.
