MOTHER'S LOVERS: Friends and very special fans of Chef Lisa Schroeder gathered at Mother's Bistro on Monday night for a VIP reception in honor of the new cookbook she co-authored with Danielle Centoni, Mother's Best: Comfort Food That Takes You Home Again. And those found nibbling on the tasty noshes featured in the timely tome included five-time cookbook author Janie Hibler (pictured above with Lisa), Oregonian theater critic Marty Hughley, Cupcake Jones chief-cupcake maker Lisa Watson, and renowned Portland chef Amelia Hard, among others.
