SPACED OUT: Want to have your eggs over easy...and on the moon?

The once dingy Brite Spot—it the restaurant attached to the Space Room, one of upper Hawthorne Boulevard's most infamous watering holes—just went under the knife and has emerged with a major makeover.

And, man, is it out of this world.

Now called the Space Room Lounge and Restaurant the revamped joint has an X-File-ian Judy Jetson in Twin Peaks kind of vibe.

Each table is covered in stellar sci-fi stuff, there's a U.F.O. hanging over the kitchen pass-thru and an actual "alien" from the set of The X-Files hangs from the wall.

On Friday, new owners Seth and Paul Leavens swung open their mother of a space ship for a lil' party to welcome their neighbors..and beyond.
