MAKIN' IT: On a very sunny First Thursday in June Ecotrust and Edible Portland invited Portlanders to meet the makers and shakers behind our city's world-class food scene. Portland’s top caterers came together with local farmers to feature the best in seasonal products, perfectly paired with homegrown libations prepared by Portland's esteemed micro-distilleries.
The pairings, all delicious and different, included:

Plus there were bike-powered treats from Moberi Smoothies featuring Stahlbush Island Farms fruit, ice cream from Ruby Jewel and special concoctions from Portland’s latest mixology service Merit Badge Co. All proceeds benefit Ecotrust's work to foster a natural model of development that creates more resilient communities, economies, and ecosystems here and around the world.
