DROP YOUR PANTS: Sunday The Hazel Room, a tea shop and cafe on SE Hawthorne and 33rd turned one year old and I guess you would call them housemates, because located in the same building boutique Mag-Big turned two! Both businesses have had crazy success in the short time they’ve been open and I’d like to say a personal congrats to both establishments.

In honor of the birthdays “Castle Greyskull” as the proprietors call it (3279 SE Hawthorne Blvd) had a PANTS PARTY. People decked out in they’re favorite wacky pants and danced their asses off to DJ Gregarious. While others sipped discounted boozey beverages, shopped the deals at Mag-Big and ate yummy treats courtesy of the Hazel Room.

This was as fun a dance party I’ve been to in years, but you don’t listen to me, just look at the pictures for yourself to see how the night and pants and all unfolded.—Marissa Sullivan
