CELEB-U-WATCH: Oregon has not one, but two, famous families in town right now.

First is the Von Trapps of  "Sound of Music" fame (actually they are the great grandchildren of Maria and The Captain). They just performed a sweet set with Thomas Lauderdale at the Bing Lounge in downtown Portland. That's where I found out that the Von Trapp teens are working on an album with Pink Martini that is set to be recorded here in Portland in September and will be ready for release sometime at the end of 2012.  These kids have beautiful voices, just like their kinfolk.

Now for the other family. Who are also "working" while they are in Oregon.

“Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is filming at the new boutique hotel Inn at the 5th in Eugene, Oregon today and tomorrow, June 22-23.

Bruce Jenner, 1976 Olympic decathlon gold medalist, and sons Brody and Brandon Jenner are staying at the Inn at the 5th. The show’s crew are filming the arrival and departure of the Jenners, as well as the opening ceremonies of the U.S. Olympic Team Track and Field Trials at Hayward Field.

Bruce Jenner will be honored as one of only six living American gold medalists in the decathlon in a tribute to the centennial anniversary of the event.

Now, the question is who would you rather hang out with?
