Amy and Danny Bonaduce at Doc Martens in Portland, Oregon

CELEB-U-WATCH: Despite reports to the contrary Danny Bonaduce is an incredibly gracious and polite individual. I found out that out for myself on Friday afternoon when I stopped and snapped a photo of The Partridge Family star and his wife, Amy, on the corner of SW Burnside and 10th Avenue, just inside the door of the Doc Martens store. The Bonaduce's were out shopping, and were more than gracious when I asked to take their picture. Now, it's unlikely Danny was in town for Leverage or Grimm or any wayward Portlandia skit. According to a tweet @TheDoochman posted prior to landing in Portland Bonaduce was just here for fun and romance (Bonaduce is currently a radio dude on Seattle's KZOK Radio). Said Danny, "Amy and I are spending a romantic weekend in Portland. Please don't rob our house while we're gone. Thank you and Godspeed."

Another celeb tweeting from Portland (and Astoria) is Matthew Gray Gubler.  One of the more interesting characters on television, Gubler best known for his role as the young genius Dr. Spencer Reid in the CBS television show Criminal Minds. On Friday his @Gublernation tweets became very Portland specific with a nice follow up that embodied the perfect Portland "meh"-ness: "if you like trees, coffee, and gloom as much as me you should move to Portland." Gubler follows that tweet up the following day with a nice pic in front of the Goonies House in Astoria, Ore.
