STARDAR REPORT: Chalk this up to one-half rumor mill with a possible smidgen of truth.

It has come to my attention that another new television series is going to be shot in Portland, Oregon in 2012.

There's even word that the forces behind this project have snatched up a large warehouse space in the region and are quickly transforming the studio into its own little "city." That's the more solid part of the story.

The more gossipy part is that the series could be coming from the same folks that brought you Portlandia: IFC.

Now, there was that rumor that Zach Galifianakis and his HBO show, Bored to Death, wanted to shoot in Portland. Could the brand new IFC show, Comedy Bang Bang—which Galifianakis is closely associated with—possibly be what, at the time, they were actually talking about?

Why it might happen here: Portlandia.

Why it might not: Scott Aukerman's popular podcast, which the show is based on, is very tightly connected to the comedy scene in Los Angeles.
