Peter and Johnny near the stroke of midnight at 23Hoyt

SPARKLE TIME: New Years Eve was quite the night. I think that's why it has taken me two days to post about it.

First up was a stop by Jennifer Jacobs and William's beautiful Pearl District loft for sparkly bubbles and sparkling conversation with Nancy Davis, Marti Zimlin, Claire Paris and others.

Next it was off to 23Hoyt for a night of great food from Chef Amber Webster drinks and dancing (that was via the incredible VJ, Dan Woods,—who, word has it, that he is working with some of Prince's people on a new project). Yes, we were joined by a few friends including Mayor Sam Adams and his partner Peter Zuckerman, Portland Monthly's new arts and culture editor Aaron Scott and we spotted a few other friends there including Eater's Erin DeJesus and her partner Johnny, Sammy and Adam Murray, and 23Hoyt owner Bruce Carey and Joe Rogers.

We wrapped the night up at Lisa Watson and Peter Shanky's legendary NYE party. That's where we spotted Judge Kemp, Paul and Trent Finlay, Jeana Frazzini, Holcombe Waller, Nicolle Camarata and Cory Cunningham. I would tell you more about that party, but frankly, I don't remember very much about it...other than it was hella, hella fun.
