HOLIDAY HELPERS: Bill Dickey and David Wagner's 5th Annual "Holiday Party with a Purpose" benefited a non-profit cause near and dear to my heart: Basic Rights Oregon. For the shin-dig, catered by Charles Stilwell and Devil's Food Catering, Bill and David opened their home to the best and the brightest in progressive Oregon politics.

This is the second time that Bill and David have thrown a party to raise funds for Basic Rights Oregon. Over 150 people attended the event that included a who's who guest list of elected officials, community leaders, candidates running for office and friends to the organization. Bill and David are committed to support Basic Right's work for marriage equality so that one day basic rights are not a dream, but a reality for all of us.

Party people included Terry Bean, Basic Rights Executive Director Jeana Frazzini, Ted Wheeler, Nick Fish, Beth Allen, Lisa Watson, Peter Shanky, Brent Barton, Liz Fuller, Mary Nolan and my "Juan" and only, Juan Martinez.
